  1. Dear Gordon,

Whether in your translation of the Gospel of Mark appear the Divine Name YHWH?
If so, please give me all the places.

    With sympathy,

  2. Since the Gospel of Mark was originally written in Greek, the Tetragrammaton (יהוה), which is Hebrew, does not appear in it. In my translation, the Greek word θεός is translated “God”, and κύριος is translated “Master”.

  3. I have not translated those books yet. I have only translated the Gospel of Mark and the Epistle to Philemon.

I think Luke 22:43 would be pretty straightfoward: “And he said to him — Amen I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

John 8:58 likewise: “He said to them — Amen amen I say to you, before Avraam came to be, I am.”
